On Wednesday, August 26, PTI will present the live virtual Foundations of Information Technology Leadership Certificate Program. The interactive, one-day experience is designed for IT professionals transitioning from technical roles into leadership positions, as well as managers who want to strengthen the skills they use every day.
The seven core modules focus on critical leadership capabilities for public-sector IT professionals. Participants will engage in real-time discussion, questions, and peer learning, and will leave with practical tools for leading teams, navigating change, and making sound decisions. At the conclusion of the program, participants will earn a certificate of completion.
The timing is especially valuable for professionals attending the WRITA Fall Summit the following week. The course provides a leadership framework that can help participants engage more intentionally with keynote presentations, peer conversations, and conference sessions. Ideas gathered in class can be tested through discussion with leaders from across the region, while insights from the Summit can reinforce the skills introduced during the program.
